Hosts- we are looking for lovely local (within 1 mile of Byker Community Centre) people who can provide a comfortable, relaxing and welcoming place for artist speakers to stay whilst they are participating in the conference. Min 2 nights ideally 3 nights, we hope to be able to offer some money towards food etc., but this will depend on how successful our crowd funding is!
Events Team- helping to dress the venue (could include making decorations / installations), meet and greet visitors to the exhibition, create a party atmosphere (fire dancers, jugglers, magicians, musicians, burly boys and girls, fierce and fabulous kings / queens / jesters), clearing up the next day!
If there is anything specific you want from volunteering with us (like particular experience, references, volunteering that supports your work / study, quotes for your website etc.) please let Michaela know when you first get in contact so we can try to offer you opportunities that will help you with this
