In April 2017 Nasty Women North East held the first Nasty Women exhibition in the UK! It was held at Byker Community Centre. The exhibition featured over 200+ artworks by 80 artists from 23 countries. It was visited by more than 2,500 people.
Byker Community Centre, Headlam St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE6 2DX, is the home of Byker Community Association a registered charity, with two members of staff and around 20 volunteers, which supports the wonderfully diverse community of Byker and the surrounding area with a wide variety of services including employment advice, LGBTG+ groups, after school clubs and a community café.

On November the 16th (9:30 am - 4:00 pm) and 17th (9:30 am -12:30 pm) we are ecstatic to be holding the first EVER International Nasty Women Conference at Thought Foundation, Clarity House, Durham Road DH3 2BT Birtley, Gateshead UK.
